COMING EXHIBITION-REVERIE *3 MAN SHOW* OPENING ARTISTS' RECEPTION: AUGUST 25, 2012, 5-8PM
REVERIE will feature a newer series of my work that is a continuation of my recent BLACK HARVEST composition (sculpted paper black roses wrapped in velvet). This newer series is much more personal as I am creating more revealing compositions, which allow the viewer to see my past fears and curiosities related to femininity, seduction, and human nature.

My Artistic Goal
...is to focus intently during my creating process, which leads into my concepts.
It's not necessarily what the floral sculptures look like, but what it is that they stand for.
Pulp pigmentation and placement are both a reflection of my personal apprehensions, more specifically with being an artist.
As I make judgements with each arrangement, I tend to get nervous and act on these nerves to make impulse decisions and discover how I may convey them specifically with pulp, my chosen medium.
