Heather: Paper and its potential as a medium continue to spark my attention. I investigate paper as the subject rather than the surface and practice Western and Eastern traditions of papermaking. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art Education from Moravian College and received my Master of Fine Arts Degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts where I studied under Carson Fox, Murray Dessner, and Anthony Ciambella among others. I maintain a papermaking studio and have worked in galleries and taught courses at the college level. I currently teach drawing, painting, and sculpture at the high school level.
